OPEN - tools for exoplanet detection

Fitting Keplerian curves to radial velocity data: we've been doing this since 1995 [1] in order to find exoplanets orbiting stars other than the Sun. It should be a solved problem by now. Long story short... it's not. Let's see why.

Current methods

There are a lot of different methods to carry out the fitting and a lot of software packages implementing them. Here is a small compilation of these (in no specific order):
